Gone Fishin'

Last weekend I went to Goose Lake to go fishing!!!!! I was so excited to use my brand new Barbie fishing pole.

First, I had to get it ready, so I fixed the line and put a nice juicy worm on the hook as bait (with some help from Yeye)Dada showed me how to cast and reel in the fish, all I had to do was wait......
And wouldn't you know it.....fish on!!! I caught my fist trout! Yeye was so proud!But the fish kept coming, we caught 8 trout total all day! It sure was a hot day out, but being by the lake made it so nice. I can't wait until my next fishing trip!

Oregon State Fair

Last weekend we went to the Oregon State fair with Gigi and Yeye, and I saw so many neat things! I even got up close and personal with some of the animals!

I rode as many rides as I had tickets, my favorite ride was the motorcycles!
And I tried my hand hand at the strong man game, that mallet sure was heavy!But I won!!!! My very own little pony! It was such a fun day!

I've just been enjoying this late summer we've been having, playing in the sun, swimming in the pool, and enjoying some refreshments out in the hot sun!
I've also taken up a new hobby: butterfly catching! I've yet to catch one, it takes a lot of concentration, but I'll get one before the summer is over!
