Multnomah Falls

We took our first big hike as a family last weekend! Well, Mama and Dada hiked, and I hitched a ride for most of it, but I put in a good effort, and once we got to the top the view was amazing!
It was pretty hot outside that day, so it was nice to take my shoes off and cool my feet in the stream for a little while, brrrrrr!And we made sure to take lots of rests on the way up and to drink plenty of water!But the best part was knowing that after we made it back down to the bottom I was going to get ice cream!!!! Ahhh nature, what a lovely thing!

Hopscotch and Applesauce 07/22/11

Sorry for the late posting everyone, I've been spending so much time outside playing in my private hopscotch waterpark that I haven't even gone near a computer! I'd rather be outside in the sun having fun any day!
But all that play sure does work up an appetite, and there's nothing better after a hot day outside then sitting down and enjoying some chilled apples and veggies! Mmmmm........and back outside I go!

The Youngest Member of the Timbers Army

Last weekend I went to my very 1st Portland Timbers game!!! Who knew I would be so excited to go watch soccer! At first I was just excited to represent the Timbers in my new outfit....
But once the game started I was so excited to cheer and chant along with the rest of the Timbers Army!!! And the hotdogs weren't too bad either :)All that cheering made me tired, so after the came we rode back to our car in a pedicab!! It was so relaxing, until next time Timbers!

Happy 4th of July!

This was my 1st 4th of July where I actually got to do my own fireworks!!! Well, sparklers anyway!Dada lit off the rest of them while I watched from the car, it was too cold outside, but I had the best seat in the house!

We made strawberry shortcake kabobs! And Mama let me have the leftover angel food cake!It was such a lovely day I decided to take it outside, and I was very serious about not wasting any yummy cake!
Oh the joys of summer! Say cheese!!!!!!!!!

Happy Father's Day 06/24/11

Well, I've done it again! I worked very hard this year on Dada's Father's day present, it took lots of concentration!
Here's my masterpiece!!! I'm going through a "blue" period.
But the creativity didn't stop there! Gigi and Yeye wanted a Quinlan original also!
So.......masterpiece x 2!!!!

Happy Birthday Gigi 06/17/11

Sweet, sweet summer! Jainey and I got to make our own ice cream sundaes the other day! Complete with chocolate sauce and brownies and sprinkles, oh my!And I have to say, mine was quite delicious!
We also celebrated Gigi's 60th birthday!!!! Mama threw Gigi a rose themed birthday dinner and made her a chocolate ice cream cake covered in butterflies!!! So pretty!

Hood River 06/10/11

I had my 1st taste of summer this weekend! We took a trip as a family to Hood River and I played in the sand while watching all the sailboats go by. Then we walked through the town and had lunch. But nothing was as memorable as my peppermint stick ice cream in the park. Mmmmm, it's my favorite!
